The assignment set forth in class was to create a fake magazine cover based on an adjective. My group chose the adjective “vintage,” and the color palette was chosen by searching “Vintage” in adobe color and using the first color palette that came up.
The project was created in Photoshop during class, and was a valuable lesson in using photoshop to manipulate images in order to create something original. There is definitely room to improve here, and I learned that it would be a good idea to focus on kerning when adding type to an image.
