This project was two months in the making, and it started with an observation of how I personally spend my time alone. After discussion with my groupmates, I found that we all had similar experiences: time alone is often wasted by not quite knowing how to spend it productively.

We used our ideation stage to solve this problem of not spending time alone in a way that feels meaningful with as many creative ideas as possible. We ended up with an idea for an app which suggests meaningful ways to spend time such as reading, finding new music, and writing.

Through user testing we found that a favorite color palette consisted of desaturated purples and yellows, and we found that people preferred to have rounded edges on buttons rather than squared ones. Our final product came after many iterations, and it was a mixture of the many ideas that the group came up with.
